Oak Lodge Water Services (OLWS) will be replacing an estimated 60-year-old water mainline located on SE 28th Ave, SE Lakewood Dr, and SE Whitcomb Dr. Construction will begin in December 2023 and is expected to continue through the end of February 2024. Additional paving may take place later depending on the weather. This project is a $952,382.88 investment in the water system serving your area, paid using funds saved from your rate dollars, and will continue our mission to provide safe, reliable drinking water. The typical life span of this investment is 75 years.

Affected areas may see delays and/or temporary closures while work is taking place.

Emergency vehicles will continue to have road access at all times. Temporary driveway access may be provided by placing steel plates over the exposed work areas while that section is being installed and/or connected. During construction, heavy equipment and materials will be located in the work area. These areas will be clearly marked with cones and/or caution tape. When construction is occurring noise and dust may be present.

Staff and the construction contractor have planned this work to minimize the impact this neighborhood.
